As Founder and President of ONYX Healthcare Solutions since 2011, Wendy Black leads efforts to enhance value for healthcare providers and agencies; healthcare technology and service companies; health plans including MLTC/FIDA/DISCO organizations. Ms. Black leverages her unique healthcare industry expertise and strategic relationship-building skills to facilitate improved quality of care for patients and members, greater efficiencies for payors and maximum returns for providers. Between 2006 and 2011, Wendy held senior administrative positions at RBM, Wellpoint and GHI, which provided a wealth of experience in healthcare operations, contracting/network development and hospital and provider relations. While employed by Neighborhood Health Provider from 1996-2006, Ms.Black assisted in the developed of licensure documents, which helped launch Neighborhood Heath Providers, a New York based Prepaid Health Services Plan, that later expanded from Medicaid Managed Care product to other lines of business including Child Health Plus and Family Health Plus products. During this same period, Ms. Black was employed by Royal Healthcare, a Management Services Organization and Business Processing Outsourcing company, an MSO/BPO that provided services to the government program market in the State of New York. Ms. Black is an Associate Member of the Board at Parker Jewish Institute, as well as a Board member of the Healthcare Executives Club. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from CW Post, Long Island University.
